Just That Simple

I’m not a lumberjack

I only wear flannel on really cold days

For warmth, not for fashion

I don’t wear a chain wallet

I do shave my legs

And my armpits too

I also shave my head, so

I am not a man

I don’t want to be a man

I am a woman

I am happy to be me

I do like women

But not all women

I wear boots

Yes, for fashion and cold weather

I have small hands

And small feet

That does not make me weak

I cry sometimes

When I am moved to tears

I like to bake cakes

And build things from scratch

I am a wife

And a husband

No one is the man

Both are women

I understand the complexity of this

It is simpler than it sounds
